Philosophy
At colegio Roosevelt, we believe the arts awaken imagination, give voice to passion, and cultivate creativity, for students to find their unique voice. Through the arts, students explore, connect, and create with purpose—growing understanding of themselves, others, and cultures around the world. Our students gain insights into who they are and who they can become through every artistic experience at our school!

Colegio Roosevelt is a place where all students including the gifted as well as exploring visual artists, thespians, and musicians can pursue their passion for learning through authentic experience and guidance. Our commitment to this is seen in our curricular and co-curricular offerings that provide students the stage or the canvas to share their art with our community and beyond by participating in school exhibitions, concerts, and performances as well as in events held by worldwide organizations including ISTA (International Schools Theater Association) and AMIS (The Association for Music in International Schools) – and regionally in SAAC (South American Activities Conference). We also participate yearly at all levels at ADCA (Asociación de Colegios Privados de Asociaciones Culturales) music, visual arts, and dance festivals and at the middle school and high school levels, the AMIS international music festivals.

幼儿/小学

中学

高中
通过申请程序，高中学生可以成为三个艺术荣誉协会的成员：ITS（国际戏剧协会）、NAHS（国家艺术荣誉协会）和 Tri-M（国家音乐教育协会附属机构）。通过这些荣誉协会的工作，我们相信艺术是一种极好的表达方式，可以让我们与周围的世界打成一片，并以诚信的态度提供对社会负责的解决方案。
高中学生一般会选择一个艺术领域进行更深入的研究，选择继续攻读文凭课程（DP）的学生可以至少专注于一门艺术学科--音乐、戏剧或视觉艺术。学生们将对自己的工作产生探究和反思的态度，并对艺术在社会、世界和自身生活中的作用有更深刻的理解。这与艺术中独特的知识理论学习有着真实的联系。艺术表现、反思、评估、合作和交流是罗斯福学院艺术课程所秉持的信念和价值观的内在组成部分。
所有高中学生都有机会参加 SAAC（南美活动会议）艺术节，其中包括乐队、合唱团、戏剧、弦乐、电影和视觉艺术，这样他们就可以与来自南美各地的其他学生合作。
